This article compares two incredibly functional and user-friendly options: Delonghi Dinamica vs Eletta. Both machines boast of interesting features such as easy to clean and excellent coffee, which make the DeLonghi a grade above in many ways.
The winner Delonghi Dinamica has a powerful built-in burr grinder, easy-to-clean parts, and quick heat-up time. Besides, every detail of this machine leaves a good impression on me as the digital display design creates a modern aesthetic.
As for the runner-up Etella, this model also is designed with tons of one-touch beverages that promise a convenient experience for even first-timers. With a 15-bar pump pressure, a one-touch display, and the Latte Crema System, you get a great automatic espresso machine.

Delonghi Dinamica vs Eletta: Differences
The Winner: Delonghi Dinamica
After comparing the differences between the two models, I declare that DeLonghi Dinamica wins by 4 – 0 against the DeLonghi Eletta thanks to its ability to make delicious coffee, value for money, and accompanying utilities. Let’s now take a deep dive into a range of different factors to see how the Delonghi Dinamica compares to the Eletta.
Flavor
The Winner: Delonghi Dinamica
+ Grinder
Grinding is one factor that makes our Delonghi Dinamica a winner. In my opinion, the Delonghi Dinamica grinder is better for three main reasons: it is quieter, has more settings, and is easy to adjust. The Dinamica features an integrated conical burr grinder. A built-in coffee bean grinder is included with the DeLonghi Dinamica super-automatic espresso machine.
The grinder has 13 settings which are changed by turning the dial on the bean hopper. Using the 13 settings, you can optimize your espresso extraction by experimenting. Besides, a conical steel burr grinder will last a long time and grind your beans evenly. No matter how often they are used, they retain accurate grinding performance.
As for the Eletta coffee grinder using a steel grinder, the results are more precise and controllable. However, it is loud, and no matter what you do, you can definitely hear it. In my experience, the steel blade is always sharp even after long use, even when I see some inconsistencies.
+ Heat-up time
With DeLonghi Dinamic, the average time taken for heating up the espresso machine to brew is less than 40 seconds. This is much faster than the traditional espresso and cappuccino machines. For me, there is a lot to love about this machine! You can have coffee quality coffee beverages with the push of a button. With its Adjustable Cappuccino System system, you can make a cappuccino, caffe latte, or a latte macchiato in less than 2 minutes. Besides, the Thermoblock heating elements ensure smooth heat-up time.
On the other hand, with the Etella machine, it takes more than 60 seconds for the machine to warm up, which makes brewing morning coffee take a bit longer, but this is not too much of a problem.
Milk System
The Winner: Delonghi Dinamica
With the Dinamica, you get a Panarello steam wand, as is standard on Delonghi espresso machines of this level. This makes it easier to steam good microfoam without technique. Next to it, a steam wand froths both hot and cold milk that you can add directly to your glass or cup. So it’s really a touch-and-go type of convenience. In addition, the steam wand is removable for easy cleaning. In my opinion, anything that makes the cleanup process a little easier is a huge plus!
With Eletta, the machine comes with a steam wand that doubles as a hot water dispenser. Based on what I have observed, the steam wand produces fine, textured milk foam very effectively. However, I’ve found that the steam wand is slightly smaller than standard sizes.
True Brew Iced Coffee
The Winner: Delonghi Dinamica
According to the company’s introduction, DeLonghi TrueBrew Over Ice is the first and only fully automatic espresso and coffee machine to feature iced coffee. DeLonghi TrueBrew Over Ice brews smooth, dense coffee on ice that never runs watery by brewing at a lower temperature, pre-brewing, and infusing the coffee, and offers greater intensity customization.
This stronger flavor is difficult to “dial-in” in a super-automatic espresso maker, especially if you’re a beginner. So the DeLonghi makes it easier with its fully automatic and one-touch TrueBrew Over Ice feature. It directly brews espresso for iced drinks without losing its strength or tasting too watered down.
When I compared iced coffee produced in the TrueBrew mode to coffee from the machine over ice, I found that the TrueBrew process creates a smoother, fuller-flavored beverage. You’ll love this machine if you’re a regular iced coffee drinker.
The Delonghi Eletta doesn’t have this.
Utilities
Tie
The goal of any home espresso machine is to break down as many complex features as possible to make it easy and efficient. Both the Delonghi Dinamica vs Etella machines have controls and a variety of options that you can experiment with different drinks. Dinamica has an LCD display on its control panel that helps with selection. Its menu has a range of one-touch options that make things easier.
The Dinamica is also an automatic bean-to-cup coffee machine meaning it does the job of grinding, extracting, tamping, and brewing your coffee. Also, it prepares the milk for your milk-based beverages without your intervention.
Value for money
The Winner: Delonghi Dinamica
The De’Longhi Etella costs $2,199.99 but is it worth your money? There are many factors to take into account.
The first thing you notice is how compact it is. Despite its weight (24.5 pounds), it measures only 18 inches wide and 14.2 inches tall. I find it ridiculous that a blender, a large bucket of water, and a bean hopper are all squeezed into that void.
The De’Longhi Etella is also fully automatic, with all-around stainless steel construction. Therefore, the price will be high. However, regular automatic espresso machines do not lack any features. What’s unique here is the LatteCream function and great portability. Prices are reasonable but could be lower.
For the price, De’Longhi Dinamica seems to be a good deal. It boasts a handy TrueBrew Over Ice function for users who want to drink both hot and cold. I appreciate the price and functionality of this Dinamica machine, which is a great choice.
