Do you intend to invest in a more expensive mid-range machine with advanced technologies and convenience? Then, this one is for you! The debate Jura S8 vs Miele 6350 features 2 powerful mid-range espresso machines, and Jura S8 is the better pick out of the two.
The Jura S8 boasts a premium, high-quality design that not all mid-range machines have. It enables you to brew delectable expose with the simple push of a button. In addition, the entire process of producing a coffee drink is automated, and users can make the most of the 15 presets the machine can brew easily.
The Miele CM 6350 is a high-quality espresso machine, but given its features and technological developments, its price is excessive. It has an automatic milk frother, a typical 5-setting grinder, and a fantastic espresso taste. But considering the outrageous price, I can’t say that its features persuade me.

Jura S8 vs Miele 6350: Differences
Jura S8 wins 3-0 and ties once against Miele 6350. Its more stable pump allows the machine to deliver bold espresso with better consistency. The quality of the espresso doesn’t fluctuate as much as with 6350. Check out the full details below!
Espresso extraction
Winner: Jura S8
The pump pressure of the Miele 6350 is significantly less steady than that of the Jura S8. The distinction lies in the Miele 6350’s inability to operate with its pump in the long run. I have a pretty strong espresso at first using this gadget. After a few months, it began to lose pressure, and it reflected through the espresso flavor and crema.
On the contrary, with Jura S8, I have been getting delicious cups with velvety crema without any difficulty. It also comes with the AromaG3 grinder with 6 settings. The grinder is extremely fast and quiet. And it grinds very evenly to ensure consistent flavor quality. The machine doesn’t disappoint.
Of course, it’s something expected from a machine of this price range. After all, no one enjoys perceiving an espresso maker’s purchase as a fraud due to faulty operation. So even though Jura S8 is quite the price tag, it’s still worth the investment if its espresso flavor and additional utilities already convince you.
Milk frother
Winner: Jura S8
Jura S8 has consistently produced milk foam that adapts to your selected recipe. For example, if you order a latte macchiato, you can see the drink’s three layers of steamed milk, espresso, and milk froth. If you select a flat white, it is quick to notice how the espresso and somewhat creamy milk combine to make a smooth cup.
Since Miele 6350 has a problem with the pump pressure, it goes through the trouble when sucking milk up to froth it as well. The result is: the “milk foam” got mixed up with too much water, making it almost impossible to get an airy and dry foam texture. The situation calls for warranty! Unfortunately, I have had to send the machine back to get it fixed.
Heating element
Tie
These models don’t have any trouble getting the water to the ideal temperature for effective espresso brewing thanks to their single Thermoblock. The non-milk beverages’ ability to easily attain temperatures of 175°–180°F impresses me. Due to milk’s inability to attain the same temperature as espresso, beverages like cappuccinos and latte macchiato have a lower temperature, which is the norm of espresso recipes.
One-touch beverages
Winner: Jura S8
What about the one-touch recipes? What can these machines brew with a single touch? The list of beverages includes:
- Miele CM 6350: espresso, coffee, cappuccino, latte macchiato
- Jura S8: ristretto, espresso, coffee, macchiato, caffe latte, cappuccino, flat white, latte macchiato, milk portion, milk foam portion, hot water, hot water for green tea
Jura S8 vs Miele 6350: Similarities
There aren’t many similarities between Jura S8 and Miele 6350, but the water tank capacity and the spout height are worth mentioning and discussing. Check out how each feature works for me and how it will affect your daily brewing below!
Water tank capacity
Jura S8’s water tank can hold up to 63.6 oz of liquid, while Miele 6350 can store up to 61 oz. There is a very small difference between them, so I don’t put them up against each other for comparison. With this tank size, it’s expected from users that they refill them once every day if they brew a lot of coffee (over 7 cups) or once every 2 days if the brewing rate is more moderate.
Adjustable spout height
Most espresso machines have adjustable spout height to assist a wider variety of cups. The same goes for Jura S8 and Miele 6350. With Jura S8, you can adjust the spout between the range of 2.8 – 4.6 inches for the coffee spout and 4.4 – 6.2 inches for the cappuccino spout. As for Miele 6350, you can change the spout height between 3.1-5.5 inches.
