Are you looking to upgrade your home coffee brewing setup? If so, you’ve likely heard about two of Nespresso’s machines on the market – the Nespresso Delonghi Lattissima One vs Touch. But which one is the best option for you? In this post, I’ll compare the two models side-by-side and give you all the information you need to make the decision for your coffee-loving needs. So, grab a cup of joe, and let’s get started!
Nespresso Lattissima Touch is the perfect choice for coffee lovers looking for a machine that can provide them with the ultimate coffee experience. This machine features an intuitive touchscreen display, a removable water tank, etc. It also has a patented automatic cappuccino system, which froths and dispenses milk to create barista-style drinks. Additionally, it has a fast heat-up time so that you can enjoy your coffee in no time.
Nespresso Lattissima One is a great machine that is worth buying thanks to its delicious taste with fast heat-up time, but it lacks some of the more advanced features found in other machines. It has an automatic milk frother, but it doesn’t have a texture setting like the Touch model. Furthermore, it has a limited selection of drinks, with no specialty drinks such as cappuccinos or lattes. To learn in detail, let’s scroll down!

Nespresso Delonghi Lattissima One vs Touch: Differences
Nespresso Delonghi Lattissima Touch wins over Lattissima One with a score of 3-0 and ties once thanks to its improved ease of use, better design, and premium touch points. Keep reading, and I will explain more in the following seasons.
Flavor
Ties!
I recently had the pleasure of trying the Nespresso Delonghi Lattissima One and Touch. The first thing I noticed was the intense aroma of freshly brewed espresso. It was a pleasant surprise to find that the flavor was just as good as the scent. The espresso had a robust, complex flavor with a hint of sweetness. The crema was thick and creamy, adding to the overall richness of the espresso.
One of the contributing factors to good flavor is that these two models are both equipped with the Thermoblock heating system, with an approximate heat-up time of 25 seconds for coffee drinks and 40 seconds for milk-based drinks.
Nevertheless, in actuality, the Lattissima Touch model is faster, and I’ve definitely noticed a difference in the time it takes to make drinks. I’m a huge coffee lover but have limited to enjoy because of my work, so the heating system of the Touch model is a significant benefit for me – it gets the job done faster and more efficiently.
Milk System
The winner: Nespresso Delonghi Lattissima Touch
After doing some research, I found that both the Nespresso Delonghi Lattissima Touch and Lattissima One have an automatic frother that can create a rich, long-lasting foam that’s creamier than what you can get from other models.
However, the Touch has an advantage over its competitor as its larger milk carafe allows you to make multiple cups consecutively with ease and save you time. In contrast, with the Delonghi Lattissima One model, for multiple drinks, you have to fill the milk system each time. The system holds enough milk for one drink.
Furthermore, Delonghi Lattissima Touch allows you to adjust the texture of the milk froth by simply turning the regulator knob to the right or left. This is something that the Lattissima One can’t do, making it less practical for those who want more control over the foam level of the drink and producing inconsistent results.
Another issue I meet with the Lattissima One is that sometimes the milk spout is finicky and spurts milk out of the cup, leaving a few drops on the counter.
Utility
The winner: Nespresso Delonghi Lattissima Touch
Having experienced both the Nespresso Delonghi Lattissima Touch and the Lattissima One, I can confidently say that the former offers more benefits with its six one-touch recipes. By pressing just one button, coffee and milk fans can prepare delicious creamy lattes, latte macchiatos, cappuccinos, warm milk, espresso, and coffee.
On the other hand, the Lattissima One only has three buttons: espresso, lungo, and a milk button for a latte and cappuccino (with a one-touch milk system). Ultimately, if you’re looking for more options when it comes to making coffee drinks, the Nespresso Delonghi Lattissima Touch is the way to go.
In addition, Lattissima Touch has a larger used capsule container, holding ten capsules, while Lattissima One only contains 9. This is a practical advantage that many people may appreciate, as it means you spend less time collecting and disposing of used capsules.
Value for money
The winner: Nespresso Delonghi Lattissima Touch
Comparing the value for money of Nespresso Delonghi Lattissima Touch and Lattissima One can be tricky. The Lattissima Touch is a step up in terms of features, boasting an automatic milk frother and a variety of settings that make finding your perfect cup of espresso easier. Although it comes with a bit higher price tag, I am pleased with the experiences I have had with this machine because it works more durable and stable than its rival.
The Lattissima One, on the other hand, is more affordable and offers a simpler functionality. The quality of coffee and milk-based drinks are impressive, but it requires me to take care thoroughly in frequent time. This problem is quite a waste of time and annoying on a busy day.
